COME TO ECVP 2005 TO SEE THE TOP 10 ENTRIES FROM THE 74 SUBMISSIONS!
ECVP ATTENDEES WILL CHOOSE THE
TOP 3!!
The ECVP 2005 call for novel illusions (unpublished or published no earlier than 2004) has been a huge success, with a total of
74 submissions!
A panel of impartial judges has rated the 74 illusions submitted and narrowed them to the TOP 10, according to:
- Significance to our understanding of the visual system
- Simplicity of the description
- Sheer beauty
- Counterintuitive quality
- Spectacularity
At ECVP in A Coruña, the top ten illusionists will present their contributions and the attendees of the event (that means you!) will vote to pick the TOP THREE WINNERS! First, Second, and Third prize winners will each receive a specially designed trophy from the Science Museums of A Coruña (Museos Científicos Coruñeses), and their winning illusions will be made part of the museum’s exhibition!
A party including a taste of local folklore, Spanish food and drinks and a DJ will follow!
Note: This event is included in the registration fee.
